Game Description:
Before the release of the racing project Project CARS, the developers, the Slightly Mad studio, had already announced the sequel, having left a message on their official website on June 22. Like the first part of the series, the second will be created with funds donated by gamers. For the crowdfunding campaign, the site of World of Mass Development was again selected.Gamers are again promised rewards for donations. That is, they acquire a vote in the development process of Project CARS 2, and will also be able to get early access to the game to visually evaluate it. The release date, of course, has not yet been called even approximate, but it is known that races will be released for the three leading platforms - PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The developers promised that all the flaws characteristic of the first part of their racing series will be fixed. In addition, as expected, in the next game there will be various innovations. Studio Slightly Mad shared that in Project CARS 2 will be:
- 50 countries, uniting more than 200 diverse routes;
- More than 200 cars distributed in 40 classes;
- 8 different disciplines, including climbing a hill and rally;
- a dynamic change of time of day and weather conditions, which are directly reflected in the adhesion to the road surface, and therefore on the nature of driving;
- cooperative mode for four players, where everyone has their own responsible role: pilot, navigator, spotter, reserve pilot.Thanks to various innovations and the promise of developers to fix errors, Project CARS 2 should attract the attention of even more gamers. It will also be affected by the fact that in the second part of the series, motorcycles will be presented in addition to cars. In general, the project should turn out really grand.
The attitude of gamers to the early announcementAccording to the Kotaku resource, gamers were not very pleased with the early announcement of the second Project CARS game, because the first one was released only on May 6 and needs to be improved. To this wave of dissatisfaction, representatives of Slightly Mad studio replied that the development of Project CARS 2 will not affect the support of the first part. These processes will run in parallel.
The outrage of gamers can well be understood, because their donations totaling about 3.75 million euros made up the bulk of the budget for creating Project CARS, so before investing in the next project, they want to make sure that this time the result will be more perfect. Surely the guys from the studio Slightly Mad themselves understand this, so you can expect a really decent result.
