And all the games are told about Isaac Clark - the flight engineer who collided with a very atypical breakdown ... In the first part, he and several others flew into the Ishimura spaceship to find out the cause of the distress signal. And they were faced not with engineering, but with genetic difficulties: the crew of the Ishimura turned into zombies, or rather, the so-called necromorphs. This happened due to the obelisk artifact, which employees dragged from the planet Aegis-7, where mining was going on.
We’ll tell you a little more: Dead Space transfers it to the year 2414, by this time Earthlings had sucked everything they could from their home planet and started working on the devastation of other cosmic bodies. The ship "Ishimura" is owned by Concordance Extraction Corporation - a company that extracts ore minerals in incredible volumes. Once among these fossils was an obelisk artifact that can turn dead tissue into an extremely aggressive life form - a necromorph. Such a creature does not know how to think and experience complex feelings, it only moves with the aim of giving the Obelisk another sacrifice. To destroy such a creature, you need to disassemble it in parts - to dismember. Some necromorphs have large mounds exploding upon destruction. In general, there are more than 20 varieties of these zombies.
