Game Description:
Portal is a fascinating puzzle game from the creators of the series of shooters Half-Life - the American studio Valve Corporation. Moreover, the game takes place in the laboratory of Aperture Science Corporation from the Half-Life universe. The corporation is engaged in the study of portals. Actually, the Portal gameplay is based on the use of portals to move and solve various problems. The main character is the girl Chell, whose mission is to pass various tests. The game was released in 2007, and in 2011 a sequel appeared - Portal 2. It is dedicated to the continuation of the history of the first part, and the main character again is Chell. True, this time she wakes up in a destroyed laboratory, and after a fairly long period of time. What happened over the years is unknown. All this is very suspicious, so it’s better to make legs. Fortunately, Chell, one of the personality modules who appeared next, decides to help her. However, Chell and her friend Wheatley will face new challenging challenges on their way to flight.
Features of Portal 2:
- Advanced physics. The world of Aperture Science Corporation has become more diverse and exciting. The gamer can now control not only portals, but also various surrounding objects, forcing them to interact with each other, which opens up additional prospects. Also, a certain liquid appeared in the pipes of the laboratory, or rather, even several different liquids. And they definitely affect the gameplay.
- An exciting cooperative mode. In addition to the single player campaign, Portal 2 has a cooperative mode. However, he is in no way associated with the single player. The main characters here are the Pi-Body and Atlas robots, which have to undergo various training tests. The gameplay is based on the interaction of robots with each other.
Thoughtful music. Developing the second part of the puzzle, the creators decided to make significant adjustments to the sound design of the project. Music perfectly emphasizes the atmosphere of what is happening, at the same time it does not distract from solving complex problems. That is, it is a background, but serves as a significant complement to the gameplay.
